What Is The One Day Divorce Program?

The One Day Divorce Program a process we designed to help couples complete their divorce proceedings in a single day without the time, expense and emotional strain of court proceedings or a long-drawn-out process. While it cannot circumvent the Family Code’s divorce waiting period, our program aims to expedite the California divorce process for couples who qualify for the One Day Divorce option.

To participate in our One Day Divorce Program, both parties must agree on all terms of their divorce They must be cooperative and prepared to proceed. They then attend a 4 hour in-office session where all documents, including the final agreement, are prepared and reviewed to ensure that everything is in order and that both parties understand the final terms. If everything is satisfactory, final documents are executed and sent off to court. We can even coordinate the notary. Then, all you need to do is sit back and wait for the documents to be processed.

Who Qualifies For A One-Day Divorce In California?

Divorcing spouses who can answer “YES” to the following may qualify for Our One Day Divorce Program:

• Are willing to work together cooperatively.
• Can attend the session together at the same time.
• Have completed, filed and served the Summons and Petition or are willing to meet with the Mediator to assist with the preparation of the Summons and Petition prior to the One Day Divorce 4 hour in office session.
• Both parties in the case have completed or are ready to complete the court required financial disclosures.
• Both parties have reached an agreement on all terms for the judgment, including, as applicable, child custody, child support, spousal support, division of assets and debts, etc.
