MF Holiday

We are kicking off this holiday season on Friday, December 9th from 5-9pm at the 3rd annual Holly Jolly Holiday Celebration hosted by McCoy Fatula, APC benefiting the CCHAT Center of Sacramento. Blue Line Arts in Roseville will be the location for this festive evening of food and fun. Proceeds from the raffle, silent auction and sale of the limited edition CCHAT 2016 tournament will help children with hearing loss learn to listen and talk. $40 per ticket. We will be joined this year by Miss Pennsylvania 2016, Elena LaQuatra.

Ms. LaQuatra suffered a debilitating bacterial meningitis infection at the age of four that took 100% of her hearing and balance. She refused to let that hold her back. After extreme rehabilitative measures, including numerous surgeries, Elena now hears with a Cochlear Implant. We are very proud she flew all the way from Pennsylvania to attend our event.

CCHAT Center - Sacramento is a program devoted to teaching children who are deaf and hard of hearing to listen and develop spoken language. Currently, over 60 children are benefiting from CCHAT's center-based programs. CCHAT is state certified as a nonpublic school and is one of two listening and spoken language programs serving children who are deaf or hard of hearing in Northern California.

Children attending CCHAT utilize a variety of amplification systems including hearing aids, cochlear implants and personal FM systems. Through a program of individualized language therapy and a creative and imaginative curriculum, children develop competency in communication, social, and academic skills. With these skills they can actively participate in their local schools and within the community at large.

We would like to thank all of those that support the Holly Jolly Holiday Celebration, CCHAT Center of Sacramento and McCoy Fatula:
